THE GRAND PALACE AND WAT PRAKEAW

This place is like a must visit sight in Bangkok, as far as history is concerned- it’s the most famous landmark of the city. It was built in 1782 and was the home of the Thai King for 150 years. Also, it served as the Royal Court and the admin seat of Thailand’s government. The beautiful architecture in the Grand Palace continues to awe most people whenever they visit.

PHANG NGA BAY

Phang Nga Bay is located northeast of Phuket; it is also a unique site in the world. This place is the sheer limestone cliffs that projects vertically out of the emerald green water, this is a distinctive feature of the bay. James Bond Island and Koh Pannayi are also some popular spots in the bay.

SIMILAN ISLANDS

This collection of islands and rocks lies off the coast of Phang Nga one hour thirty minutes by speedboat, or eight hours or more by a slow boat from Phuket. In 1982, this region was declared a Marine National Park. The waters that surround the Similians teem with colorful coral, tropical fish, and it also offers underwater visibility. Due to this, diving is considered to be the best in this part.

PHI  PHI ISLANDS

These islands are some of the most beautiful in South-East Asia. Using a speedboat, they are just 45minutes from Phuket but 90minutes using a ferryboat. There are two islands, they are- Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh. Phi Phi Don is the larger and inhabited one.

FLOATING MARKETS

These colorful markets in Bangkok are familiar to so many visitors through numerous images found in travel books and tourist guides. To enjoy the atmosphere here, try to relax on a well-guided boat tour around the Damnoen Saduak Market.
